SentinelOne Appoints New Sales and Marketing Heavyweights in Europe

Company Plans Increased Investment in Global Sales and Marketing Following Recent Infusion of $70 Million in Series C Round

London, UK:  9th February, 2017 – SentinelOne, the company transforming endpoint security by delivering real-time protection powered by machine learning and dynamic behavior analysis, today welcomed two senior executives to its leadership team in Europe.  Gareth Green, former general manager for EMEA and APAC at Aeorohive Networks, joins as vice president of sales for EMEA and APAC, and Perrine Jouan joins as the new marketing director for EMEA.  This news comes two weeks after the company announced it had secured $70 million (USD) in a series C funding round led by Redpoint Ventures.

Gareth brings more than 20 years of management experience in the enterprise security and networking industry. While at Aerohive, Gareth was responsible for sales, channels and strategic partner alliances across the region. Over the course of nine  years he grew regional sales to represent approximately 40 per cent of worldwide revenue. Prior to Aerohive, Gareth helped establish Netscreen as a key security company in the region, taking the company from startup to revenues in excess of $120 million and through its acquisition by Juniper Networks, where he took on the role of vice president of enterprise sales.

“I believe SentinelOne has the technology, resources, opportunity and ambition to displace the old guard of antivirus vendors,” said Green. “SentinelOne tackles today’s advanced security challenges using the latest behavioural and machine learning techniques to detect, mitigate, remove and forensically investigate fast-evolving threats like ransomware. I am thrilled to be joining the team and look forward to introducing more organizations across Europe and Asia to the power of our technology.”

Prior to joining SentinelOne, Perrine built Proofpoint’s marketing function in APAC from the ground up. A French national based in Paris, Perrine has also held marketing management roles at Symantec in Australia, where she developed direct marketing and digital marketing strategies and programs to build awareness and generate new business opportunities.

“SentinelOne is quickly emerging as a disruptive force in the next-generation endpoint protection security segment, which makes it a very exciting time to join the team,” said Jouan. “I look forward to working with the team to broaden our worldwide footprint through innovative marketing campaigns that will have tremendous impact on helping global customers to better defend against today’s cyber attacks.”

The company also recently announced its placement as the furthest in the “completeness of vision” in the Visionary quadrant of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms.
