SentinelOne Vs. Quantum Ransomware – Mitigation and Rollback

⚔️ Watch how SentinelOne mitigates and rolls back Quantum Ransomware. Quantum is a ransomware “group” that first emerged in July of 2021. At this time, the group also posted their TOR-based victim blog. As is the case with most ransomware groups, Quantum threatens to leak sensitive data, should the victims decide to not ‘cooperate’ with the attackers. Quantum ransomware itself is fairly standard and actually lacks some features that we find commonplace in modern ransomware samples. For example, currently analyzed samples of Quantum do not attempt to disrupt or disable the VSS (Volume Snapshots) mechanism.
